No está seguro de cómo llegó allí, pero sabe que no es donde debe estar, por eso decide correr, escapar, sin pensarlo mucho. Así que con un paso apresurado inicia su marcha, mirando a su alrededor, extrañado del ambiente boscoso, con ansias de salir de ese sitio, y regresar a un lugar seguro con personas que lo protejan, ya que a sus 14 años su madurez incipiente apenas está comenzando a brotar.
Siente que algo lo acecha, sin saber con qué intención, así que el miedo comienza a hacer presencia como una suave brisa, que pasa sobre la cabeza de Nolan y esparce su semilla en la cabellera del joven, que con el acoso de la persecución, germina y crece rápidamente, lo que causa que el agobio inminente entorpezca la huida.
Mientras continúa con su paso apresurado, mira a su derecha y logra identificar aquello que lo persigue, es un animal, de color blanco, cuatro patas, cola larga y peluda. Que progresivamente se acerca al joven, con una determinante misión de emboscarlo, corre y salta los obstáculos con gran destreza, lo que le da ventaja, porque el paso lento y torpe de Nolan deja en evidencia quién es la presa.
Nolan, sigue corriendo, no tiene otra opción, el miedo no le deja pensar ni actuar de otra manera que no sea escapando, un choque de adrenalina recorre su cuerpo, lo que lo hace ser un poco más rápido, pero también más nervioso, usa sus brazos para evadir las ramas de los árboles y sus piernas para continuar su carrera contra el tiempo, el cual cada vez está más cerca de terminarse.
No sigue una ruta definida, solo improvisa mientras corre, a lo lejos ve algo que parece una encrucijada, la cual podría servirle de escape de esa situación, ya que lo único que desea es huir. Pero de repente, luego de un gran salto, el enorme animal hace su llegada, obstruyendo la posible salida, en un lobo blanco, enorme, debe pasar los 50 kilogramos, grandes y puntiagudas orejas, a pesar de correr, no jadea, solo clava su mirada en el asustado joven, que detiene abruptamente su marcha delante de él.
Ya no hay donde huir, el camino está bloqueado por aquel feroz animal, escapar por el camino ya recorrido no es opción, el lobo lo alcanzaría rápidamente, por lo que en pocos segundos Nolan deberá decidir si enfrentar a su depredador con valentía y audacia, o ceder ante el miedo de ese gran adversario.
Mientras el lobo lo acecha, Nolan, respira profundo, cierra sus puños y sin un plan, decide realizar el acto más inverosímil, enfrentar a la bestia, que no espera darle oportunidad al joven y con un gran salto lo ataca.
Pero en el último instante, cuando los colmillos del animal están justo por clavarse en su piel, Nolan despierta, agitado, sudando y con aceleradas palpitaciones. Nunca estuvo físicamente en aquel bosque, nunca fue perseguido por un animal real, lo único verdadero, fue el miedo que sintió al verse perseguido y la acertada decisión que tomó al enfrentarlo.
Escribo estas líneas a modo de ejercicio literario, el cual me atrevo a compartir. Las vivencias contadas no pertenecen a una verdad absoluta, son una mezcla de imaginación con realidad que la convierte en un relato, el cual espero sea de su agrado.

So with a hurried step he begins his march, looking around him, surprised by the wooded environment, anxious to get out of that place, and return to a safe place with people to protect him, because at 14 years old, his incipient maturity is just beginning to sprout.
He feels that something is stalking him, without knowing with what intention, so fear begins to make its presence felt like a gentle breeze, which passes over Nolan's head and spreads its seed in the young man's hair, which with the harassment of persecution, germinates and grows rapidly, causing the imminent burden to hinder his flight.
While he continues with his hurried pace, he looks to his right and manages to identify what is chasing him, it is an animal, white in color, four legs, long and hairy tail. It progressively approaches the young man, with a determined mission to ambush him, it runs and jumps over obstacles with great dexterity, which gives it an advantage, because Nolan's slow and clumsy pace makes it evident who is the prey.
Nolan keeps running, he has no other option, fear does not let him think or act in any other way than escaping, a shock of adrenaline runs through his body, which makes him a little faster, but also more nervous, he uses his arms to avoid the branches of the trees and his legs to continue his race against time, which is getting closer and closer to the end.
He does not follow a defined route, he just improvises while running, in the distance he sees something that looks like a crossroads, which could serve as an escape from that situation, since the only thing he wants to do is to run away. But suddenly, after a great leap, the enormous animal makes its arrival, obstructing the possible exit, a white wolf, huge, it must be over 50 kilograms, big and pointed ears, in spite of running, it does not pant, it only stares at the frightened young man, who abruptly stops his march in front of him.
There is nowhere to run, the road is blocked by that ferocious animal, escaping by the road already traveled is not an option, the wolf would reach him quickly, so in a few seconds Nolan must decide whether to face his predator with courage and audacity, or give in to the fear of that great adversary.
While the wolf stalks him, Nolan takes a deep breath, clenches his fists and without a plan, decides to perform the most improbable act, to confront the beast, which does not expect to give the young man a chance and with a great leap attacks him.
But at the last instant, when the animal's fangs are just about to dig into his skin, Nolan wakes up, agitated, sweating and with accelerated palpitations. He was never physically in that forest, he was never chased by a real animal, the only real thing was the fear he felt when he was chased and the right decision he made to face it.
I write these lines as a literary exercise, which I dare to share. The experiences told do not belong to an absolute truth, they are a mixture of imagination with reality that turns it into a story, which I hope you like.
