Hola mis queridos amigos, esta vez les traigo una bonita historia sobre un farolero y me gustaría primero recordar el papel que ellos desempeñaban. Antes de que existiera la electricidad, el farolero debía recorrer las calles y plazas encendiendo los faroles o lámparas con un hermoso fuego, era un trabajo que se hacia manualmente para iluminar toda la ciudad. Ahora que ya lo sabemos, acá les dejo la historia.
El Farolero de la ciudad
Las calles de París eran hermosas y más en la noche, se podía ver el resplandor de todos los faroles y una hermosa claridad embellecía todo el lugar, por esa época existía un oficio muy importante y era la de Farolero, pues era el encargado de llenar de luz la ciudad, en muchas ocasiones incluso llenaba de luz las casas de muchos habitantes. Al ser un trabajo tan importante, los faroleros estaban relacionados con personas de la alta sociedad, incluso con Reyes.
En esta historia había un farolero muy peculiar llamado Emiliano, era el farolero más destacado de la ciudad, era tan valorado y respetado por su trabajo, que incluso iluminaba las casas de príncipes, personajes importantes y teatros principales. Todos le admiraban por su extraordinario trabajo y siempre le encomendaban tareas de mayor responsabilidad.
Un día le ofrecieron un trabajo que le traería muchos problemas, debía ser el coordinador de todos los faroleros de la ciudad. Inmediatamente, sus colegas comenzaron a sentir envidia y a actuar mal. Por la noche cada farol que Emiliano encendía era apagado horas después por sus compañeros de trabajo, esos actos no solo perjudicaban a Emiliano sino también a los habitantes de esa hermosa ciudad, porque había tanta oscuridad que aumentaba la delincuencia y la maldad en las calles.
El rey enfurecido le llamó la atención a Emiliano e incluso iba a sustituirlo de su cargo, Emiliano, confundido, no sabía lo que pasaba y no sabía que sus compañeros le estaban jugando una mala pasada. Sólo trató de hacer mejor su trabajo y se esforzó más.
Finalmente, el Rey se enteró de todo lo que estaba pasando y tuvo una seria charla con los saboteadores diciéndoles:
—¿Por qué se empeñan en apagar la luz de los faroles de la ciudad?
—Están perjudicando a todo el pueblo.
—¿No es más fácil hacer un buen trabajo y demostrar que ustedes también merecen un buen puesto?
El Rey enfurecido finalmente les dijo:
—Mientras ustedes duermen y holgazanean, Emiliano amanece trabajando, limpiando y vigilando todos los Faroles de la Ciudad...
Reflexión:
Muchas veces vemos el éxito que cosechan las personas, pero nunca vemos el trabajo y el esfuerzo que hay detrás, cuando mires a alguien no te fijes en lo que ya ha conseguido, fíjate en todo el trabajo y el tiempo que le ha costado llegar hasta donde está.

In this story there was a very peculiar lamplighter named Emiliano, he was the most outstanding lamplighter of the city, he was so valued and respected for his work that he even illuminated the houses of princes, important people and main theaters. Everyone admired him for his extraordinary work and always entrusted him with tasks of greater responsibility.
One day he was offered a job that would bring him a lot of trouble, he was to be the coordinator of all the city's lamplighters. Immediately, his colleagues became envious and began to act badly. At night every lantern that Emiliano lit was extinguished hours later by his coworkers, these acts not only harmed Emiliano but also the inhabitants of that beautiful city, because there was so much darkness that increased crime and evil in the streets.
The enraged king called Emiliano's attention and was even going to replace him from his position, Emiliano, confused, did not know what was going on and did not know that his colleagues were playing a dirty trick on him. He just tried to do his job better and tried harder.
Finally, the King found out everything that was going on and had a serious talk with the saboteurs telling them:
