Hoy vuelvo a iniciar mi actividad en Hive, pues este año por diferentes motivos no he podido arrancar debidamente con mis publicaciones, entre las causas más importantes están la perdida de la conexión a internet en mi casa por más de un mes y el dolor cervical que he estado padeciendo últimamente, pero tengo la esperanza de ahora si poder alcanzar un ritmo adecuado de publicación.
Hacen ya unos cuatro meses atrás participe en un concurso literario en la comunidad Literatos para el que escribí un relato de ciencia ficción distopía al que titulé “Seres sin almas”, lamentablemente cometí un error que ocasionó que mi escrito fuera descalificado, pero me sentí tan a gusto con la historia resultante y la experiencia de escribirla, que me quede con ganas de continuar expandiéndola y profundizando la trama, así que eso he estado haciendo en mis ratos libres y he podido más o menos idear el argumento para una novela.
Por lo tanto, con este articulo pretendo iniciar una serie de publicaciones en las que iré haciendo entregas de esta novela conforme la vaya escribiendo, con el fin por su puesto de compartirla con la comunidad, de modo que sea leída por quienes se interesen en hacerlo, pero además para que quienes observen cualquier tipo de error en mi escritura (tengan en cuenta que soy disléxico) o en el sentido de la propia historia, puedan por favor comunicármelo, de modo que yo tenga la oportunidad de nutrirme de sus correcciones y sugerencias, puliendo mi modo de escritura y quizá logrando en un futuro publicar una historia mejor editada en Amazon o alguna otra plataforma de autopublicación con fines comerciales.
Debo aclarar que las entregas iniciales contienen gran parte del texto que ya publiqué en su momento al participar en aquel concurso, de modo que pido disculpas si estoy haciendo contenido duplicado, pero he hecho algunas modificaciones al texto y creo que será más ordenado todo si comienzo a publicar la historia desde cero en artículos de aproximadamente mil palabras. Entonces, aquí tienen la primera parte del primer capítulo de mi novela web “Seres sin alma”, espero les agrade.

About four months ago, I participated in a literary contest in the Literatos community for which I wrote a dystopia science fiction story that I titled "Beings without souls." Unfortunately I made a mistake that caused my writing to be disqualified, but I felt so at ease with the resulting story and the experience of writing it, that I am left wanting to continue expanding it and deepening the plot, so that I have been doing in my spare time and I have been more or less able to devise the plot for a novel.
Therefore, with this article I intend to start a series of publications in which I will be making deliveries of this novel as I write it, in order of course to share it with the community, so that it is read by those who are interested in doing it. , but also so that those who observe any type of error in my writing (bear in mind that I am dyslexic) or in the sense of the story itself, can please let me know, so that I have the opportunity to nourish myself with your corrections and suggestions , polishing my writing and perhaps managing in the future to publish a better edited story on Amazon or some other self-publishing platform for commercial purposes.
I must clarify that the initial deliveries contain a large part of the text that I already published at the time when participating in that contest, so I apologize if I am making duplicate content, but since I have made some modifications to the text and I think everything will be more orderly if I start to publish the story from scratch in articles of about a thousand words. Global City, año 2121.
La humanidad ha dejado de procrear de forma natural, los niños son concebidos artificialmente por medio de un artefacto tecnológico empleado en el ámbito doméstico, denominado Biocápsula Eugenésica. Para ello, a estos dispositivos se le suministran muestras de tejido celular de dos personas que no posean relación consanguínea entre sí.
El sistema desarrolla mediante ingeniería genética e inteligencia artificial a un bebé biológico (sin órganos reproductivos funcionales), cuyos rasgos físicos y demás características genéticas pueden ser parcialmente seleccionados según las preferencias de los padres, de entre el material genético suministrado.
Existe una ley que regula la comercialización, uso y funcionamiento de estas capsulas, a la vez que prohíbe estrictamente el contacto sexual entre los ciudadanos, está Ley de Reproducción Asexual contempla la pena capital inmediata para aquellas personas capturadas al momento de infringirla.
El gobierno de la única gran ciudad del mundo occidental, ha implementado estas medidas para evitar la extinción de la raza humana ante la proliferación de cybors en el oriente del planeta, como consecuencia de los estragos ocasionados por un letal virus que se ha propagado globalmente, causando que la población mundial sea portadora pasiva de una mortal enfermedad.
Este virus manifiesta sus síntomas únicamente a consecuencia del intercambio de fluidos corporales, provocando la muerte de los infectados en los días posteriores al encuentro físico. De modo que la reproducción humana se ha limitado exclusivamente a procedimientos artificiales, dando paso a que en Asia se haya optado por el desarrollo de cuerpos cibernéticos, mientras en América y Europa se apuesta por la ingeniería genética.

The system develops by genetic engineering and artificial intelligence a biological baby (without functional reproductive organs), whose physical traits and other genetic characteristics can be partially selected according to the preferences of the parents, from among the supplied genetic material.
There is a law that regulates the marketing, use and operation of these capsules, while strictly prohibiting sexual contact between citizens, this Asexual Reproduction Law provides for immediate capital punishment for those captured at the time of infringing it.
The government of the only great city in the western world has implemented these measures to prevent the extinction of the human race due to the proliferation of cybors in the east of the planet, as a result of the damage caused by a lethal virus that has spread globally, causing the world's population to be passive carriers of a deadly disease.
This virus manifests its symptoms only as a result of the exchange of body fluids, causing the death of those infected in the days after the physical encounter. Thus, human reproduction has been limited exclusively to artificial procedures, giving way to the fact that Asia has opted for the development of cybernetic bodies, while in America and Europe it is committed to genetic engineering.

Aquella mañana Erik despertó más tarde que lo habitual, pero tenía el ánimo tan elevado que parecía caminar en las nubes, y ¿cómo no iba a ser así? habiendo disfrutado de semejante noche de pasión con su amada Amy. Ella era hermosa y sexy, si bien el resto del tiempo exhibía una personalidad apacible e irradiaba ternura, en la intimidad era sumamente salvaje y atrevida.

Tanto, que aunque personalmente solo se habían visto en un par de ocasiones y el tiempo que habían compartido juntos físicamente era sumamente escaso, ya habían contemplado la posibilidad de formalizar su unión adquiriendo una biocápsula para engendrar a un bebé, como cualquier otra pareja de enamorados en la ciudad.
Lo único que les había impedido hasta el momento hacerlo, era que no estaban a gusto con tener como hijo a un niño eugenésico o un “ser sin alma”, como las doctrinas espirituales solían referirse a los niños procreados artificialmente, y debido a que ambos tenían ideales espiritualistas no estaban de acuerdo con la bioingeniería en humanos.
Terminado su aseo matutino, pasó a colocarse sobre las pupilas un par de pantallas de contacto inteligentes, luego introdujo en sus oídos dos cilindros auriculares y finalmente puso en su lengua un micrófono de tipo piercing, completando así los componentes que junto al anillo, que ya llevaba puesto en su dedo anular derecho, conformaban su sistema de telecomunicación e información personal.
Como cualquier otra persona en la ciudad, día a día llevaba consigo un conjunto de elementos informáticos de este tipo en estrecha relación con su cuerpo, conformando una especie de sexto sentido computacional y telemático, el cual le permitía interactuar, no solo con el sistema operativo de su propio apartamento, sino con toda aquella gran metrópoli, pues era una ciudad totalmente inteligente, colmada de sistemas automatizados y componentes autónomos por doquier.
