In a very poor area, there lived alone a young boy whose only dream was to one day become a singer. His neighbors and acquaintances knew that he loved to sing, his voice was likened to the sweet melody of a beautiful bird that woke up the neighbors in the morning, the Turpial.
He worked very hard to one day reach his most cherished goal of being a famous singer, but nothing seemed to be enough, sometimes he got discouraged and thought that he would never be able to make his dream come true.
One day, while he was coming back from his job as a miner he had to pass through the city, he was very tired, but he heard music playing and stopped to listen to where it was coming from and he approached the place and realized that it was in a very expensive restaurant and thought to himself that they would never let him in there. Very close to the entrance a well-dressed gentleman is watching him and he looked well off, especially because of the expensive car he had gotten out of, this man greeted the young man and cordially invited him to come in and share a meal.
En una zona muy pobre, vivía solo un joven muchacho al que su único sueño era un día volverse cantante. Sus vecinos y conocidos sabían que él amaba cantar, su voz la asemejaban a la dulce melodía de un hermoso pájaro que despertaba a los vecinos en la mañana el Turpial.
Él trabajaba muy duro para poder algún día alcanzar su meta más preciada que era ser un cantante famoso, pero nada parecía ser suficiente, a veces, se desanimaba y pensaba que nunca iba a poder hacer realidad su sueño.
Cierto día, mientras venía de regreso de su trabajo de minero tenía que pasar por la ciudad, venía muy cansado, pero escucha que suena música y se detiene a escuchar de donde provenía y se acerca al lugar y se da cuenta de que es en un restaurante muy costoso y pensó para sí mismo que nunca lo dejarían entrar allí. Muy cerca de la entrada lo está observando un caballero bien vestido y se veía de una buena posición económica sobre todo por el automóvil costoso del que se había bajado, este hombre saludó al joven y lo invitó cordialmente a entrar y que compartieran una comida.

The young man was excited, the man could see that emotion and asked him if he wanted to sign up, that he would help him to pay for the entrance to the contest. The young man accepted the man's offer and was the last one to sign up. Singers came and went, some good and others not so good, and finally it was the turn of the young man who sang from the heart, although with a lot of nerves. When he finished everyone stood up to applaud him, it was the most beautiful voice they had ever heard, the man who helped him also stood up to congratulate him and told him that he was surprised he did not expect him to sing so beautifully.
El joven muy avergonzado le dijo que no estaba vestido de acuerdo al lugar, que no lo dejarían entrar. El hombre le dijo que no se preocupara que él se encargaba. Así que entraron, bajo la mirada de mucha gente eligieron una mesa que estaba muy cerca del escenario donde estaba un hombre hablando por un micrófono y daba la bienvenida a las personas decía que podían inscribirse en el concurso de canto, ya que acababa de llegar una casa talento muy famoso que se encargaría de elegir a los mejores para que se volvieran unos cantantes famosos.

El joven con mucha pena acepto el ofrecimiento del hombre y fue el último en inscribirse. Pasaban y pasaban cantantes algunos buenos y otros no tanto y al fin llegó el turno del joven que cantó desde el corazón aunque con muchos nervios. Cuando terminó todos se pusieron de pie para aplaudirle era la voz más hermosa que habían escuchado, el hombre que lo ayudo también se puso de pie para felicitarlo y le dijo que estaba sorprendido no esperaba que cantará tan bonito.
He told him that his name was Peter and he was the talent scout and that it would be an honor to work with him. The young man couldn't believe it and quickly accepted. Everything progressed very well and after a year he was already famous, but this young man never forgot where he came from and every month he sent help to his village for the children's studies and to help more young people to fulfill their dreams.
Never under any circumstances should we give up on our dreams, even if it seems uphill, we can always achieve them when we least expect it.

Nunca bajo ninguna circunstancias abandonemos nuestros sueños, aunque cumplirlos parezca cuesta arriba, siempre, cuando menos lo esperamos, podemos cumplirlos.
