¡Qué extraña forma de felicidad me visita!
Ahora que mi compañera está de sangre turbia,
que el virus ha entrado en su dentadura para impedirle que me reciba.
Ahora que mi casa cerró sus árboles para que los pájaros pasen de largo;
siento extraña mi sonrisa que contrasta con la tos de Elena.
Hay algo raro en todo esto
como si viejas alegrías me visitaran inesperadamente, inoportunamente;
pero también solemnemente abro los brazos para recibirlas
para que compartan mi valle de espinas.
Es extraño este espacio que se abre dentro del buche del pájaro infernal,
del pájaro mosca, del pájaro virus;
este espacio que alegra la mitad de la casa
mientras la otra me mira con cara de extrañeza por lo que recibo.
No sé si alguna vez han pasado por esto,
pero es bueno que en medio de la cruda tormenta
tomes la mano que te estiran.
Es extraño el momento de esta felicidad,
pero lo arropo con la firmeza de que también arropará al resto de la casa.
