**Morló and the young man

One day the giant Morló stopped at the edge of the village. Everyone ran to greet him and watched in amazement as he lay down on a quilt he was carrying.

-I must rest, to continue my journey," exclaimed Morló. The people applauded and felt honored by the giant's visit. The days passed and Morló rested peacefully. The birds protected him, the people of the village fed him in brotherhood.

Soon after, a young man arrived in the village, tall, dark-skinned and flying on a dragon. He wore a short suit, not a tunic, like the warriors. Everyone saw him and went out to greet him. In a few minutes he was left alone and those who approached did so from a distance.

The young man constantly exclaimed: -How miserable I am, a dirty robe, an old dragon and a slave's life!

The people moved away. His complaints and curses, his reproaches and constant lamentations did not please them. It broke the joy and fraternity.
Morló noticed that this boy and his presence was upsetting the people, so whispering to the dragon he brought him closer to him.

— Traveler, you are fortunate - said Morló.

— Do not be deceived, sir," replied the boy, "in my life there are no pleasures, for I work every day, I have an old dragon and from sunrise to sunset I must seek my livelihood. I have no friends because they do not accept my efforts.

Morló answered him nothing and the conversation ceased between them. As it was late the young man went to say goodbye, Morló invited him to stay, took a pillow and said to the young man: - Rest your head on this pillow and rest.

The young man lay down and slept soundly. When he awoke the people were all around him, they had fed the dragon and cared for him. The birds wove beautiful quilts which they put on him so that he would not be cold.

"True wealth," Morló said, "is having those who care about us. People don't stay away from you, they stay away from your complaints and curses. In the night, everyone contributed for your good. That's wealth."

The embarrassed young man bowed his head. From that day on, he changed his attitude, giving thanks for his life and for his dragon, he sails the skies to help others.
