El Regalo del Duende

— Sostén mi bolsa de tesoros un momento y te mostraré el gran regalo que tengo para ti— dijo Erglad, enseñando a Edison, el niño malvado del piso 2, un saco bastante sucio y roído

— ¡Está bien, pero date prisa enano!— respondió Edison, tomando en sus manos el feo y mal oliente saco. — Me divertiré mucho con ese anillo que me darás, ya no habrá niño en este barrio que me desafíe o no se rinda ante mí, — afirmo mientras reía burlonamente, pensando en su próxima maldad

Seguidamente, Erglad metió su mano en el bolsillo de su pantalón y saco lo que parecía un gran anillo de color verde. Con mucha lentitud, lo acerco a Edison, quien con mirada absorta y una malvada sonrisa en su rostro, quedo petrificado para siempre. El duende Erglad, tomo su saco y desapareció. Desde entonces, Edison adorna el camino hacia al parque de los perdidos

Me ha encantado la convocatoria realizada por la comunidad @hivemexico, donde nos invitan a participar en la 8.ª edición de su Concurso de Microrrelatos, el cual tiene como característica primordial, que el mismo no debe superar las 150 palabras y el enfoque o inspiración de dicho microrrelato, debe hacerse sobre una imagen aportada por @monster-one. La imagen de esta 8.ª edición tiene una interesante historia en su creación, la cual puedes conocer al detalle, así como todas las condiciones para participar, si visitas esta publicación.

The Gift of the Goblin

— Hold my treasure bag for a moment and I'll show you the great gift I have for you,— said Erglad, showing Edison, the wicked boy from floor 2, a rather dirty and gnawed sack.

— All right, but hurry up dwarf!— answered Edison, taking in his hands the ugly and bad-smelling sack.— I'll have a lot of fun with that ring you'll give me, there won't be a boy in this neighborhood who will challenge me or won't surrender to me,— he said while laughing mockingly, thinking of his next evil deed.

Next, Erglad reached into his pants pocket and pulled out what looked like a large green ring. Slowly, he brought it closer to Edison, who, with an absorbed look and a wicked smile on his face, was petrified forever. The goblin, Erglad, took his sack and disappeared. Since then, Edison has adorned the path to the park of the lost.
