Con miras a poder seguir adelante con los concursos que organiza la comunidad Literatos, necesitamos el apoyo de todos ustedes, en el voto y difusión de este post, así como de las delegaciones que puedan hacer a la cuenta @es-literatos y con la creación de contenido dentro de la comunidad.
Es un gran orgullo para nosotros saber que, desde que arrancó este proyecto, hemos contado con invaluables apoyos que nos han permitido, durante estos más de dos años, organizar concursos literarios con importantes premios.

Sin embargo, la dinámica en Hive es constante y todo se mueve. Hoy en día ya no se estila este tipo de apoyo y en Literatos decidimos que se hace necesario ajustar nuestra mecánica, a fin de continuar con los concursos y mantener abierta esta puerta que sirve de estímulo a los creadores de contenido literario en español.
In order to be able to continue with the contests organized by the Literatos community, we need the support of all of you, in the voting and dissemination of this post, as well as the delegations that you can make to the @es-literatos account and with the creation of content within the community.
It is a great pride for us to know that, since the beginning of this project, we have had invaluable support that has allowed us, during these more than two years, to organize literary contests with important prizes.
In that sense, we can highlight the support provided for a long time by @curie, @theycallmedan, @bluemist, through the account @appreciator, and @aliento, through @eddiespino, as well as @la-colmena, through @ylich.
However, the dynamic in Hive is constant and everything moves. Nowadays this type of support is no longer in style and at Literatos we decided that it is necessary to adjust our mechanics in order to continue with the contests and keep open this door that serves as a stimulus to the creators of literary content in Spanish.
Funcionamiento anterior
Anteriormente, los ingresos generados por las publicaciones de nuestra cuenta oficial, @es-literatos, se repartía de manera proporcional entre los integrantes del equipo, con miras a que no fuera la cuenta en sí la que fuera creciendo y, por supuesto, no se prestara a un mal uso de la misma. Aunque los ingresos generados por las publicaciones no son muchos, también servían como un pequeño incentivo para el equipo.
Por esta razón, el crecimiento en HP de la cuenta ha sido producto exclusivamente de las recompensas de curación.
Premiaciones anteriores
Gracias al apoyo que nos brindaron los patrocinantes, durante más de dos años estuvimos entregando tres premios, que en sus últimos tiempos fueron de 25, 15 y 10 hives respectivamente. Monto que siempre fue cubierto por estos mecenas y que resultaba el más alto de los premios en Hive para este tipo de actividad.
Previous method
Previously, the income generated by the posts on our official account, @es-literatos, was distributed proportionally among the team members, so that it was not the account itself that was growing and, of course, did not lend itself to misuse. Although the revenue generated by the posts is not much, it also served as a small incentive for the team.
For this reason, the HP growth of the account has been solely a product of the curation rewards.
Previous awards
Thanks to the support provided by the sponsors, for more than two years we were giving out three awards, which in their last times were 25, 15 and 10 hives respectively. This amount was always covered by these benefactors and was the highest of the prizes in Hive for this type of activity.

¿Conseguir financiamiento?
Estuvimos discutiendo distintas alternativas para conseguir financiamiento para los premios y la mayoría no resultó convincente. La más común de ellas es repartir el producto del post de convocatoria, pero esta cantidad va a estar siempre sujeta a la “suerte” que tenga la publicación.
Así que se nos ocurrió que había una forma de conseguir un financiamiento estable.
Power down
Entre nuestro Hive Power propio y el delegado, en estos momentos contamos con poco más de 5000 HP.
Los ingresos que tenemos por recompensas de curación no son muy altos, porque falta mucho más contenido en la comunidad que nos permita hacer una votación más seguida. Razón por la que te invitamos a publicar tus textos literarios en ella.
Estos ingresos, o APR, están cerca del 4% anual. Lo que significa poco más de 16 hives al mes.
Claro está, si hacemos Power Down por ese monto, la cuenta se estancaría.
Por tal motivo, pensamos que la manera de que se pueda retirar mensualmente esa cantidad y destinarla a los premios, es que podamos aumentar de modo considerable las delegaciones. Así como incrementar el HP propio de @es-literatos.

Es importante recalcar que necesitaríamos hacer crecer esa cuenta, para poder generar premios más grandes en un futuro, así como mejorar el valor del voto en nuestras curaciones.
Para ello vamos a destinar un porcentaje de las publicaciones a la misma cuenta de @es-literatos (ya no sería exclusivo para el equipo) y podemos considerar hacer algún tipo de publicación adicional, además de las muestras de autor semanales y las convocatorias a los concursos.
Getting funding?
We have been discussing different alternatives to get funding for the awards and most of them were not convincing. The most common of them is to distribute the proceeds of the call for entries, but this amount is always going to be subject to the "luck" of the post.
So we came up with a way to get stable funding.
Power down
Between our own Hive Power and the delegated one, we currently have just over 5000 HP.
The income we have from curation rewards is not very high, because we are missing a lot more content in the community that would allow us to do a more followed voting. That's why we invite you to publish your literary texts in it.
This income, or APR, is about 4% per year. That means a little more than 16 hives per month.
Of course, if we do Power Down for that amount, the account would stagnate.
For that reason, we think that the way to be able to withdraw that amount monthly and allocate it to the prizes, is that we can significantly increase the delegations. As well as increasing @es-literatos' own HP.
