Warm greetings fellow reflection hunters! š š
It was a wonderfully beautiful and sunny Saturday here at GaiaYoga Gardens, way out in the jungle of Lower Puna, and I made sure to go do some reflection hunting while it was so lovely out. Two little girls that live here with me, Iolanthe (long blonde hair) and Miria (short brown hair), wanted to come with me to help take some reflection shots, and you'll see their photos lower down, afte a note.
I always look forward to @olgavita's fantastic Reflection Hunters Contest each week, and for my entry in this week's round, Round 91, I'm sharing some photos of me 'getting creative' with my old trusty adjustable and portable mirror, beneath a specimen of one of the largest bamboos in the world, Dendrocalamus giganteus. The first set are my shots that I took for the contest, and the second set are of Io and Miria having fun and being creative.
The small round mirror looks like a portal to another world of giant grasses and pixies. The darker ground contrasts so beautifully with the sun-covered bamboo culms in the mirror. Also, a culm sheath that has not fully fallen off yet is visible in the first photo (it looks like a giant bat or bird). I had fun taking these photos! I hope y'all enjoy! šššā”š„š„ā“ļøāļøā³ļøš±š£āØ
