Warm greetings fellow reflection Hunters! š š š āØ š¤
For my entry in Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 180 I want to share with you some quite striking photos of the bright-red flower head of a torch ginger - Etlingera elatior, and their equally stunning reflections, that I took just a short time ago today. This ginger, both in its foliage and its flowers, can get quite large indeed, and added to the bright colors of the flowers, make it an ideal candidate for some gorgeous reflection shots, with the help of my ever-trusty portable mirror.
Very thankfully the sun was out when I went reflection hunting, so I was able to get just over a handful of really lovely reflection shots of these eye-catching flowers, from various angles. It's kind of funny that my entry in the Shadow Hunters Contest this week is also a ginger, just a different species. In any case, I hope that you enjoy these photos as much as I did when I took them! š š š āØ š¤
