Shadows of the yellow Mulberry tree which was planted when I was born. In Africa, placenta is used to plant a tree so they call the tree by the person's name, all my siblings have their trees scattered all over our family compound, in the village.

Using the placenta to plant a tree is a cultural practice in some African societies, and it symbolizes the connection between a person and the land they were born on. While it might seem unusual from a Western perspective, it's important to respect and understand different cultural traditions without passing judgment. What's important is the meaning and significance it holds for those who practice it.
But the scariest and strangest part of this practice is that oftentimes, when the trees stop flourishing, there's a probability that something is wrong ...😔
