The Ancient Town~Shadow Hunters Contest Round 175

Hello Shadow Hunters,

I hope you're well. I'm glad to share some of the shadow pictures that I've just taken today while spending the weekend in Hoi An. Let's check out how this beautiful town looks recently in the summertime and when life is back to normal. 🤩

There are 2 main seasons here (dry and rainy). However, it's sunny now so I could take some very cool shadow pictures of the town. Today, it's 39 degrees outside; however, it's a great time to visit and enjoy the outdoor activities and sightseeings 🙂. It's very chill and fantastic to walk and enjoy seeing the old yellow building, colorful boats, and palm trees along the river. 🤩

Every house in Hoi An ensures the harmony between living space and nature so you can see the locals plant many kinds of tree and flowers in front of the house

Normally, it's very packed every corner here, but now it's quiet. The lockdown was lifted more than 10 days ago in Hoi An and Da Nang, but the situation is still worse in other cities in the country. Therefore, there are no domestic tourists during this time. Therefore, it's understandable that many businesses are not open yet.

Hoi An always captivates my heart with its rustic and idyllic beauty. Even with many ups and downs of history and time, the ancient town still retains its cultural values and traditional architecture.

I love the moss on the roof tiles and walls.

There are some interesting narrow streets to walk, enjoy street foods, and watch the Hoian residents' daily peaceful and simple life. They are also great spots for photographs.

This is my entry for Shadow Hunters Contest Round 175, and hopefully, you enjoy some shadow pictures of the ancient Hoi An 😍

Thanks for reading and Have a great sunday
