En la actualidad algunas personas consideran que hablar de la diversidad como un valor es algo innecesario o repetitivo. Partiendo de esta definición pudiera pensarse que es muy sencillo entonces hablar de diversidad, en términos de todo aquello que es diferente, variado o no es semejante a nada más, pero, aquí comienza entonces la complejidad de la comprensión de la diversidad, pues, necesitaríamos estar claros en cuales son los patrones o cánones que nos clasifican dentro de la unidad, que nos hace semejantes y muy pero muy importante que nos convierte en iguales. # https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2016/07/14/20/29/flower-meadow-1517587_960_720.jpg Source: [pixabay.com]( https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2016/07/14/20/29/flower-meadow-1517587_960_720.jpg) # Comprender la diversidad no es difícil, lo complejo es el respeto a la diversidad. Este término se manifiesta a través de una amplia clasificación, se habla de diversidad en la vida, en la naturaleza, en el lenguaje, en lo cultural, sexual, social, familiar, cognitiva y mucho más. En este punto se debe comprender una postura que implica: # **1.- La diversidad se manifiesta en la realidad.** Es decir, lo que existe en todo lo se constituye como entorno o contexto y, que es palpable, visible, aprehensible, se percibe a través de los sentidos y forma parte del ser individual y colectivo es diverso. # **2.- La diversidad encuentra su razón de ser en diferenciación**, en este caso, se asume como cada uno de los elementos, factores y hechos que ya sea de tipo biológico, psicológico, natural, bioquímico, cognitivo, emocional, perceptivo, sensitivo, marca las características que establecen la variedad en el conjunto que en la realidad se soportan en el principio de la “unidad en la variedad” lo cual es el principio clásico de las obras de arte. # https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2020/07/19/16/54/butterfly-5420608_960_720.jpg Source: [pixabay.com]( https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2020/07/19/16/54/butterfly-5420608_960_720.jpg) # **3.- La diversidad es el derecho natural que tienen las especies de ser distintas y diferentes.** Este derecho implica un valor a las diferencias, eso que permite una clasificación enriquecedora. La diversidad permite sumar y unir lo mejor de cada quien. # **4.- El respeto a la diversidad es una práctica que permite el equilibrio y la armonía**. Aceptar la diversidad como un hecho real es fortalecer la construcción de una sociedad que practica el respeto por todo lo que existe, es creer que se puede ejercer la igualdad desde las diferencias pensando en el principio del arte “unidad en la variedad”, asumiendo que diversos somos todos.

To accept diversity as a real fact is to strengthen the construction of a society that practices respect for all that exists, it is to believe that equality can be exercised from the differences thinking in the principle of art "unity in variety", assuming that we are all diverse.
