Shadow Hunters Contest /

My entry for of the Shadow Hunters Contest

Sunny days are the best time to hunt for shadows. True, you have to look under your feet more often so as not to miss interesting shadows.

There are not many sunny days in our climate. The long winter and the gloomy light make it almost impossible to see the shadow when we go out for a walk. Therefore, on such sunny days, you want to choose your own path in the shade of trees.

My attention was drawn to the spruce trees, their shadows give interesting contours.
To understand which ones, you just need to walk around the tree around the perimeter.
Spruce belongs to the pine family and an adult tree is very tall (up to 30-40 m).
Of course, the tree gives a variety of shadows.

This is the outline of the high crown.

And the ribbed contour of the branches.

And even sunspots have an interesting effect.

This photo contains both the subject of study and the author of the picture himself in part.

At first I did not notice this mesh on the road, but it caught me with its shadow. It's true, sometimes the shadows even make you stop for a couple of minutes. Why? It is impossible to answer exactly. Maybe this is a beautiful graphics , a special meaning of reflection, or maybe everything together creates a beautiful image. As in this case.

The shadow of a lamppost accidentally fell in front of me. There are also associations here: the shadow is like a tree with fruits.
In short, shadows live on their own and hunting them is a very exciting experience.
