The morning I took this picture gave me several interesting shadows. The early morning light cast curious shapes like this one, which immediately caught my eye.
The shadow reminds me of a pallet used for packing and transporting goods, but it belongs to the seat and back of a bench. As chance would have it, I happened to be passing by just when the sun's rays were allowing this effect. If I was a little late or a little early, the inclination would have been different and the geometrical harmony would have had to wait for a more propitious occasion.
The orientation of this bench makes it a meeting place for my older neighbours. With a wall close by to shelter it from the wind, it is often busy on not too cold winter mornings. Now we are starting the season when it becomes a sort of open-air sauna. If you don't want your backside to look like a grilled cutlet, you should avoid using it during the sunny hours. 😂

Esta entrada es mi participación para el concurso semanal de Cazadores de Sombras que organiza @melinda010100.

La mañana en la que tomé esta fotografÃa me dio varias sombras interesantes. La luz de primera hora del dÃa proyectaba formas curiosas como esta, que me llamó en seguida la atención.
La sombra me recuerda a un palet de los que se utilizan para el embalaje y transporte de mercancÃas, sin embargo pertenece al asiento y respaldo de un banco. La casualidad quiso que pasara por allà justo en los minutos que los rayos del sol permitÃan ese efecto. Si tardo o me adelanto un poco la inclinación hubiera sido diferente y la armonÃa geométrica habrÃa tenido que esperar para una ocasión más propicia.
La orientación de este banco lo convierte en lugar de reunión de mis vecinos con más edad. Al tener cerca una pared que lo resguarda del viento, es frecuente verlo ocupado en las mañanas del invierno no demasiado frÃas. Ahora empezamos la temporada en que se transforma en una suerte de sauna al aire libre. Si no quieres que se te quede el trasero como una chuleta a la parrilla, hay que evitar utilizarlo en las horas de sol. 😂
