While everyone remembers to look up to see the beautiful sights surrounding us, I balance things out by taking time to notice the hidden gems waiting to be discovered on the ground.

Puddles, for example...

There is something magical about the combination of scents outdoors after a good saturation that purifies my soul and reenergizes me.

It has a dopamine effect on me!

Like all good things in life, puddles evaporate and disappear if you wait too long and forget to appreciate them in the moment.

Puddles of water create magical reflections.

All of the images in my post were taken while I walked through the neighborhood after a rainfall.
