Another week and another episode of Shadow Hunting!
Today's shadow is quite simple. It's the shadow of a plastic Chair. It is not a very sophisticated shadow, but it is very prominent.
Shadows are definitely a mysterious genre of photography.

Indeed. Some people seek comfort in chairs and the right choice of it whereas shadow hunters seek the perfect shape to cast the right shadow out of it

Indeed. Even more so there is brooding melancholy in its shadows.!
Light/Darkness, Black/White, Day/Night, Object/Shadow, etc are not different or separated from one another, they are hinged upon one another, they constitute the rhythms of existence and one is contingent upon the other.
Now, the most important question is, what is the color of shadow-- is it Black? Not entirely and not necessarily. What is the color of light? The color of shadow must be exactly opposite to the color of light or at least it depends on the color of light.
Another question, while an object has a three dimensional structure, can a shadow be three-dimensional. All shaodws that we capture in camera are two-dimensional.
All these brainstorming on shadow only make shadows more mysterious than the object. But hey, we are more interested in its art form. Let's enjoy it that way.
