The Reflection Of Our Politicians, #reflection Contest Round 159

I was just watching the television, listening to the daily News Hour of the AIT national television channel.

The News Hour comes our way every day at 8.00pm and 12.00 am Nigerian time. It is hosted by one of the country’s national television channel, Africa Independent Television, AIT. AIT is a reputable television channel which has been updating the citizenry with the happening in the country.

The News Hour gives us information on the current affairs and daily happening in our country. It tells us about the government policies as well as public incidences. There are also private sector informations and operations release through this medium.

The news we are receiving are the reflection of the government policies as expected from the citizenry. Most of the time it is disappointing that these news are full of cooked deceptions from the various authorities to deceive the masses. We always see government officials come up to give a wrong reflection about the government.

The activities and policies of the official in government offices are the reflections of their governance. During elections, politicians come to the masses with several promises and manifestos. They promise massive infrastructural development. But sadly the reflections of their operations during their stay in offices usually pictures corruption and bad governance as common in African political system. I wish our politicians could be aware that their actions and inactions in office is a reflection of their governance.
