The city is known for its vibrant Buglasan Festival, ancestral homes, and, of course, delicious silvanas. It is also the highest point in the Visayas. As far as I know, **Mount Kanlaon** is the world's 42nd tallest mountain on an island. According to locals, **Mt. Kanlaon** protects the province from hurricanes, which explains why the island gets rain but not heavy floods that reach up to the waist.
