A Woven Shadow | Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh | Round 317

Hello, dear Creators and Shadow Hunters Community!!!!

Participating in this fun weekly dynamic πŸ‘‰SMASh CONTEST-ROUND 317 πŸ‘ˆ

In this opportunity i share with you the beautiful shadow of my knitted mandala... this nice and soft mandala i knitted with my yoga classmates some time ago, it was a very therapeutic activity and a perfect time to meditate.

It was a very special and cozy afternoon, we knitted it in a garden under the tree. Knitting mandalas is highly recommended to improve concentration, to release accumulated stress, it is also very good to create companionship because there will always be someone who does not understand very well the pattern to knit and we can teach them to knit theirs.

The Eye of God

This knitted mandala is an ancestral amulet known as "the eye of God". It is a symbol of power and protection. It is built with wooden sticks, forming a cross, colored threads are used and are interwoven in a circular shape.

It can be used as a therapy or a ritual to understand the mysteries of our inner world and the world around us. It is perfect for those moments when you feel overwhelmed and confused, a nice creative moment to connect with those inner shadows and somehow through those threads weave our light. It reminds me a little bit of the dreamcatcher.

When i got home i wanted to decorate it with some pompoms and in the end i added this little crystal heart and i love the luminous effect it produces.

It is a very nice activity to do with children as well and can be made in multiple sizes.

And this is it... have a great day or night !!✌️😊

Thank you for this space and for coming here and reading a little bit πŸ’œ
