For my entry for this week's reflection contest, I am posting these photos that I took at Immuki Island. If not for @bloghound's reminder about entry for reflections, I wouldn't have thought of taking more reflection photos. That's because I just wanted to be there and enjoy the moment. I did take photos but my heart was not in it honestly. The child in me just wants to play :D
To join the reflection contest, check out @olgavita's post Reflection Hunters Contest ~ Round 81 馃尀 Announcement!.
I have made a post about our visit to Immuki Island and you can check it here A destination in La Union that is becoming popular. I was saving these photos for Reflection/Shadow Hunters. @bloghound and @naniplayergamer posted their photos about this. They were my companions on that trip along with some other friends.
This is also my entry for #WednesdayWalk and #MakeMeSmile. #WednesdayWalk is hosted by @tattoodjay and #MakeMeSmile is hosted by @elizacheng.
We had a great time at the island, walking and swimming even though it was rocky and sharp hard rocks are sticking out everywhere. You have to be careful not to slip.
On our way back, the tide is lower than when we set out to the island. The bamboo raft kept getting stuck so we had to help our guide pushing the raft while he pulled. Our guide pulling the raft looks easy but it was not.
As we got nearer to the beach, I noticed a couple of guys standing under the sun holding in their hands a can full of shells. I didn't notice them when we set out to the island. I wonder if they have been there all along.
There goes my walk and reflection entry for this week.
I'm not sure if going to Immuki Island is something I'd want to do again in the nearest future but if given the chance, I'd still go. I hope by then there will be more activities to be done there.
