For #WednesdayWalk, I couldn't go out for a walk because of the weather we have. The only walk I had was when I went out and bring out our garbage to the collection area. So let me take you back to our weekend at the beach. I just like how the sky is reflected in the water and also the sunset reflected on the windows of one of the hotels.
I have already made a post about this but I am posting more of the photos that I didn't post and adding the photos that I already did. I actually made two different posts in separate communities because of the delay in the first post. I thought it will not push through. After waiting for an hour or so and not seeing it in my profile, I made another post. When I woke up the next day and checked my profile right away, there were two posts already. Oh well.
So these sets of photos were taken in San Juan, La Union, famous for its surfing spots and places to eat, drink and be merry. The last time we were here was when restrictions were still in effect but they were only allowing those who were vaccinated to travel. We were not able to visit much of the place because of concern for COVID still.
When we visited last weekend, it was then that I saw how much development had happened since then. More establishments have been built next to each other and still more are being set up.
Last time, it was sort of a lonely beach because there were only a few people then. Now, the beach is alive and you can feel the happy vibe again. Live band are playing. There are bonfires all around. Laughter fills the air. The place is abuzz and crowded.
Walking on the beach again gave me that boost of energy. I was recharged. Walking barefoot is such a nice feeling.
I was filled with such contentment that watching the sunset is enough for me. I would have wanted to take a dip in the sea but maybe next time. It's funny that I have been longing to swim in the sea for a long time but when we got there, I'm fine just sitting by the beach. Happiness at its best! It's already Wednesday but the weekend walks still #MakeMeSmile.
