Koh Samui is known as a idyllic tropical paradise and the beaches are recognized as some of the best in the world, but despite all there beautiful beaches there are many magical hideaways if you get of the beaten track and it was exactly what we did while on this spectacular paradise island. We just drove into some inland dirt tracks with our little 4WD jeep just to see where they would lead us and most of the times we would come across little rivers or lakes running through the heart of the island and people living amongst this beautiful nature with cute little bridges connecting the people from either side of the rivers or lakes just what we expected to see away from the tourist areas.
Koh Samui consists of many hills, mountains and coconut plantations and amongst all this, it does have a lot of hidden beauty if you make time to take a few hours of the day to go out of your way to find these hidden gems that's of course depending on how long you intend staying on this island and if you like rumbling through nature. For me it was a paradise finding all these hidden trails, lakes and rivers to walk along getting acquainted with natural nature is my thing.
Koh Samui is very well know for it's nightlife sure but if your ever happen to visit this island and are there long enough, do take some time to enjoy the inner natural beauty of this paradise island.
