Drift Wood On The Beach - Shadow Hunters Contest #Round 239

I took this picture at low tide at Porthcawl in South Wales a little while ago. I had forgotten I'd taken it until the other day when I was going through some old photos on my Google photo account. The sun was low when I took this picture and casted some beautiful blue shadows, both from the piece of drift wood and the pebbles in the sand. Even the wave marks in the sand are casting shadows

This isn't the first time I've entered a picture of shadows on a beach into this challenge. I think there is something strangely beautiful about the seaside when the sun is low and long shadows are cast.
