It is used in sweeping, keeping the environment very neat and tidy.
It is made from palm leaves, some are made from coconut leaves. The coconut own is always hard but the palm leaves is soft at first, it hardens as the use progresses.
We call both the palm leaves and coconut leaves made "broom".
It showcased it's wonderful shadow when it was kept close to a wall, I am sure it was resting after a long use of it.
And this one in particular is becoming harden, showing that it has really served a lot of purposes.
