Young fisherman on Lake Tiberkul | Reflection Hunters Contest ~ Round 157

Hello, friends.
Young fisherman on Lake Tiberkul.

Lake Tiberkul is located in the taiga wilderness of Southern Siberia. Getting to the lake is very difficult, from the nearest settlement, the village of Zharovsk, about 15 kilometers of a taiga dirt road, and then about another kilometer downhill on foot along a path.

But the inaccessibility of the lake is more than compensated by its beauty and cleanliness. Peace and quiet reign on its banks.

From the Khakass language Tiberkul is translated as Heavenly Lake. The purest clear water, picturesque shores and bays, heady taiga air, create the feeling that you are in paradise. And indeed, according to Khakass legends, the lake is considered the beginning of the Path to Belovodye - a paradise land of prosperity, justice and truth.

Lake Tiberkul appeared about 500 thousand years ago, as a result of the collapse of a glacier. The area of the lake is about 25 square kilometers. The greatest depth of the lake is about 50 meters.
There are quite a lot of swamps in the lake area, so getting to the lake is quite difficult. The shores of the lake are different, along with sandy coves in some places there are steep cliffs leading to the lake.

The lake is home to many perch, pike, dace and grayling. Whitefish and taimen are also found. You can fish on Tiberkul using a regular float rod or spinning rod. The fish are biting well on the lure. Mostly pike and large perches are caught, sometimes reaching two kilograms. The float most often catches dace. And in large quantities.
