Lights on Tiles (Reflections Hunting #91)

"Your flesh is not a reflection of your soul. So when you look in the mirror, remember that your light outshines your flaws."

- D. Antoinette Foy

I was feeling a bit more reflective on waking up this morning and for some inexplicable reason (or perhaps something my conscious mind refused to acknowledge), my heart felt heavy and the eyes got wet. This is one of those times when I truly appreciate the tears for they cleanse the eyes and the soul too.

Realizing how funny and silly it is turning out to be, I laughed it all out like a mad woman. The husband who was at the kitchen ran to the room and asked with so much curiosity, "What was it that you're laughing about?" LOL!

Speaking of reflections, I found some interesting ones taken around the shops at the airport. The lights, things and people got mirrored on the tiled floors.

It's just fascinating how every little thing got copied on the shiny floor, even their shapes and colors, some clear and others distorted.

And more lights, people and stuff, their reflections are rather fuzzy because the photographer wasn't focused, lol!

This on the other hand was in HongKong. The queue of travelers or passengers was long and I think it was fun watching their mirrored images on the floor, hence this shot was taken.

And since this is all about mirrored stuff on tiles and related to traveling, I'm including this photo taken at a train station in China with the vague reflections of the rails, turnpikes (automated gates) among other things.

Obviously, this is my participation to the 91st Edition of the Reflection Hunters Challenge by Olgavita. Thank you for this initiative :)

And with this, I wish you a glorious and fun weekend!

Smile... laugh often... love more... be happy and grateful always!
