Taken at Chiang Mai Saturday Street Market in northern Thailand a few years ago. We used to live just a hundred metres away from this market so quite often I would wander over for a look before the crowds arrived. On this day the stalls were still being set up and this umbrella had not yet been stood upright. I liked the way the shadows of this man and woman were being thrown on the sun-shade in reverse of how it usually works!
