reflections 94: a fugly one

look, i know this is a reflections contest and we are expected to photograph nice pretty reflections and post them here. if we are lucky we can win. sometimes i do that but the problem is that many of the reflections i find interesting are not exactly pretty or beautiful or lovely or nice or gorgeous, attractive, appealing, tasteful or anything like that. some are actually downright fugly. i 'm sure you know what fugly means, but if you don't it's not hard to guess. it is the opposite of all those other nice proper words.

at this point i am sure you are thinking it is a waste of time making and even reading a post about such a fugly reflection. but the thing is that while this is not going to win any contests, it is nevertheless quite mysterious.

the left two-thirds of the window are faintly reflecting myself (hey, i heard that. i am not the fugly part) and the house behind me. on the right there is a view into the building. there is a clear separation between them.
except the fact that there is not. in the entire upper part of the window the house behind me is reflected despite the separating line extending from top to bottom. the uncanny reflection of the house in the upper right corner should not be there but it is. and i can't tell you why. maybe you can tell me, and that is why i posted the fugly thing.
