*The capital of Cuba, Havana, is very visited, here there are many sites of great architectural, cultural and recreational value which makes it a city with a large influx of people, both foreigners and from other provinces of the country.* *Here are renowned sites that always attract many visitors, who come to know them and always take pictures as souvenirs. That is why when you walk around the Capitol of Havana you can see many tourists posing in front of the steps to take pictures. This is also done by those of us who live in Havana, except for me, until now. Despite having passed in front of the Capitol on numerous occasions, I had never stopped to have my picture taken. And I'm of the opinion that every habanero should have his picture taken in front of the National Capitol, I think so, so this time I didn't miss the opportunity! 😂* *Before standing in front of the Capitol, I photographed the surrounding areas, from where you can always see its dome, which is very striking. After having been restored, it looks the same splendor it had in its beginnings, golden and shiny because it has a gold plating. These photos were taken from the Fraternity Park which is located next to it.* >*La Capital a de Cuba, la Habana, es muy visitada, aquí hay muchos sitios de gran valor arquitectónico, cultural y recreativos lo que la convierte en una ciudad con una gran afluencia de personas, tanto extranjeras como de otras provincias del país.* >*Aquí se encuentran reconocidos sitios que atraen siempre a muchos visitantes, quienes vienen a conocerlos y siempre se toman fotos como recuerdo. Es por eso que cuando se pasea por el Capitolio de La Habana se pueden ver a muchos turistas posando frente a la escalinata para tomarse fotos. También lo hacemos los que vivimos en la Habana, menos yo, hasta ahora. A pesar de haber pasado frente al Capitolio en numerosas ocasiones, nunca me había detenido para hacerme una fotografía. Y opino que todo habanero debe tener su foto frente al Capitolio Nacional, ¡así lo creo, así que está vez no perdí la oportunidad! 😂* >*Antes de pararme frente al Capitolio fotografié los alrededores, desde donde se puede observar siempre su cúpula que es muy llamativa. Después de haber sido restaurada luce el mismo esplendor que tuvo en sus inicios, dorada y brillante ya que se le puso un enchape en oro. *The National Capitol of Cuba is an amazing building. At its entrance are two large bronze sculptures that are impressive for their enormous size. Behind them, rises its main façade with twelve columns in front. The place, together with its gardens, is really beautiful. No wonder it is one of the most visited buildings in Cuba.* >*El Capitolio Nacional de Cuba es una edificación asombrosa. En su entrada se encuentran dos grandes esculturas de bronce que impresionan por su enorme tamaño. Detrás, se alza su portada principal con doce columnas al frente. El lugar, junto con sus jardines, es realmente hermoso. *Although was closed to the public and only allowed to go up to the first landing, there were still many people around, especially foreign visitors with some children who were having fun going up and down the steps. It was on this large staircase of 56 steps where my friend @lileisabel took some photos of me with her cell phone.* >*Aunque se encontraba cerrado al público y solo permitían subir hasta el primer descanso, aún había muchas personas alrededor, especialmente visitantes extranjeros con algunos niños que se entretenían subiendo y bajando los escalones. *Walking through this zone of the capital is really nice. It is a very nice area, with many old buildings. In the streets you can always find classic cars and the atmosphere is very cozy.* >*Pasear por esta zona de la capital es realmente agradable.
