The Castillo de San Fernando on Mount Tossal in Alicante is a popular place to get a view of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. it is a bit of an uphill walk but nothing too strenuous. the views were great as expected but the surprise bonus was the shadows of the three antenna masts.
being so tall and straight the shadows were like the minute hand on a huge clock
and while they were impressive in themselves
as luck would have it at almost exactly high noon one of the shadows lined up with the arched entrance of a building creating a sort of elaborate though temporary track leading to and from the entrance. hindavi was cautious just in case the track was in use. this is my contest entry.
