it has been a while since i have made a proper shadow hunter post but now i have a week off from work and plenty of time so here goes.
i was out on a sunset walk in the nearby park. there is a row of big old yellow buildings used for building wooden ships way back when the park was a naval base. now on this end there is an art gallery operated by an artist friend of mine.
in the spring before the sun sets it shines on the west walls of this row giving the building a nice golden hue. the shadows of passers-by make an interesting addition to the still shadows of birch tree and the information sign,
this building is along the canal which opens out into the sound between mainland and stavernsøy, the island about 1 km out to sea.
another bypasser out walking in the cool crisp evening.
oh no! that is my shadow
shadows from another tree cover the right side of the tile roof
and on the left side while the upstairs windows overlook the canal. the birch casts its shadow on the wall which shines like gold in the setting sun
ok i gotta run. thanks for stopping by
