entry reflection contest 11 titled: all bent out of shape

please consider entering the 11th round of this marvelous reflections contest here:
@annephilbrick/reflection-hunters-contest-round-11

in previous rounds i have shown some old buildings painted in the color Stavern yellow. here is a reflection from the backside of a military barracks built around 1753. in most of the 1900s the building was used as city hall. today it is shops and offices. the open window on the second floor is my wife's clinic where last week's reflections in the mirror were taken. this week the reflections are from the outside.

while i am very pleased with this photo i was looking for something with a modern twist

this next reflection is from the street side. notice there are reflections in the windows which are reflected onto the car roof. the second floor windows are also visible but not clear.

what i really want to show in this post is how reflections get distorted on the parked cars. this photo below is my contest entry

here you can see part of the taillight, the gas tank and back door as well as splashes of mud are all quite as they should be but the walls and windows are totally twisted and jumbled.

a stright line from the house has become circular while the dark reflection of somebody passing by is disfigured beyond recognition

and here the bypasser has become a purple and blue-gray blob!

slight changes of angle give radically different images. compare the next three photos

and here from the front hood of another car looking down toward the tarmac.
it would be quite a challenge to build a roof like that

or even windows and walls like these

it's not only old Stavern yellow buildings that get bent all out of shape when you park in front of them. here is from a nearby supermarket
