Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh - Round 305 {Iron bars}

Holla bloggers and fellow shadow hunters.

I believe this is my first shadow picture for this year, saying happy new year to my fellow shadow hunters is still in order๐Ÿค—. It has been a weird season this month it is hard to tell how the weather will turn out to be but as confusing as it might be it is always sunny everyday which seems like an incredible opportunity for a shadow hunter. maybe one of these days I might hunt for a shadow in the night. huff it sounds scary, like a Ghost Buster kind of thing๐Ÿ˜‚

It has been an adventurous day so far, coming back from church and being so fixated on my smart phone so I ended up taking a wrong bus which took me to a wrong destination ๐Ÿ˜‚. it is quite annoying how I did not realise I was on the wrong bus till I reached my destination. Thank merciful God that it was a little close to my actual destination if not I would have cried my eyes out because that happens to be the last cash in my wallet.

Trying to make sure I get to my destination after being pissed at myself and dwelling in self pity for awhile. I decided to trek all the way down to my house under the unmerciful penetrating rays of the sun. like they say what is the best way to identify a Sunday than when it is a sunny day๐Ÿ˜…. Trekking down the road I decided to put my shadow hunting skills into action or should I saw my shadow hunting skills just suddenly surfaced.

Passing through narrow pathways, I saw a lot of shadows, but this one in particular pinned my interest. it is a some kind of decorated shop were children wears are sold but since it is a sunday there is no activity going on in there but on a second thought ๐Ÿค” if the shop was opened it won't be so easy taking a picture because the dude might be like "Yo why are you taking a picture of my stuff, are you buying or what" huff we know how that goes and I'm no fighter ๐Ÿ˜‚. but thankfully the shop was closed so I could take clean shot.

Well this was as close as I can get, truth be told some Nigerians still find some things unusual, for instance taking a picture of iron bars in front of a closed shop, they might be like is he trying to break in or what๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. How on earth am I going to explain in few words that I was taking a picture of a shadow before being beaten๐Ÿ˜…. can't blame thema lot of locals have become paranoid especially in this era of insecurity.

I'm glad my adventurous sunny day was fruitful after all, I get to capture a shadow which is quite fortunate.
