How many journeys has this shoe undertaken? How many miles has it covered? An old worn out shoe that has seen many days and yet remains resilient, in its steps, it leaves memories gone by and secrets untold.
So this is the third year that I have worn this shoe and the other pair, a birthday gift from my daughter which I relish so much and which have served me so adequately, through the years.
