@melinda010100 has a weekly challenge that is all about shadow and all its variations.
To take part, make your own post with the picture of the shadow and then link it in the contest comment.
This is my entry to the challenge.
Finding a shadow when it's dark is not so easy if you don't have a torch with you.
But I found what I was looking for at our staff entrance. The cherry laurel tree was illuminated by a lamp and cast these shadows on the other side.
