What a strange shadow the lamppost has! SMASh Contest 251

Hi,

How is the first week of the year going?
I'm finishing my well-deserved holidays and I'm mentally prepared to start a year of hard work from next Monday.

But before entering the so-called post-holiday syndrome, I'm going to write a few words and present a strange shadow that I found this week in one of my morning walks.

Specifically, the shadows that I present in this post for the SMASh contest that @melinda010100 organizes every week was taken last Wednesday in the early hours of the day during a walk that I took around the village of Longara (1.5 km from my mother's house where I am on holidays).

At this time of the year, which is winter in Spain, the sun hardly gains height and in the early hours of the day the shadows are longer than at other times. This caused a distant street lamp to cast its shadow on one of the houses in the village.

As I got closer, I noticed that apart from the top of the street lamp there were elements that I was not able to identify, and I usually walk around this area about five times in a month. Although to be honest I usually do it at other times of the day. Additionally, in the photograph presented there is another signpost towards the Pormenade Beach path which provides a neat shadow.

In order to unravel the mystery of the rest of the elements, I followed my path to the corner of the house where the shadow of the street lamp was cast and discovered that there is a mirror installed there to facilitate the visibility of vehicles and also a signpost at the bottom.

I hope you like the composition of the shadows of the street lamp, the mirror and the sign on the wall of the house.

Best regards.
