A few days ago I visited the Natural Park of Cabarceno (Cantabria-Spain). It is a park where a multitude of animal species live in semi-freedom in a large area.
There are animals from all over the world, such as giraffes, bears, tigers, etc.
One area of the park was reserved for gorillas and some monkeys.
At the entrance, there is a statue of a large gorilla, which is a particularly popular place for family photos.
In this area, panels explain the habitats of the gorillas and also the chimpanzees.
There is also a play area for the gorillas, although in my opinion it is really a glass cage. It is the only animal I saw in the whole park that really didn't look very happy about its living quarters.
As I left the vicinity, I came across more information about the gorillas and a skull of one of them. Which as you can see was a good moment to do this week's shadow hunt.
