This week, when I was returning from a commercial visit in the city of Valladolid, I stopped at a service area to eat a snack and drink a caffeinated soft drink in order to continue my trip to Asturias.
Since I had a teleconference with a client scheduled for 3:30 pm and I had finished lunch at 3:15 pm I took my computer out of my backpack and as I moved my soda to the left of the table I found that the sun that was coming through a small window was providing some striking shadows of the soda bottle and glass.
As I had the meeting ready for a few minutes, I was playing with different positions of the bottle and the glass to see if I could get different shadows and then decide later this morning which photograph to submit to the contest.
Finally, I have opted for the first of the photographs. Sometimes, a first random placement of objects provides the image you are looking for, I think it's called chaos theory.
