Home hunting ~ Entry for the Shadow Contest.



This beauty is my entry

You will probably easily see my fixie bike, but would never guess where it is taken.
This is the beautiful old window of our bathroom looking west. The descending sun is projecting the shadow of my bike quietly hanging on the terrace.

EXPLORING AT HOME

When I made this photo I decided to hunt some more at home. Let me show what I found.

First was this nice zig zag shadow coming from the kitchen aspirator. I decided to take a video, instead a photo, because I found the moving shadow of the trees were very interesting.

After catching this moving shadow I decided to look for more of the same kind and this was my trophy

Another catch from the kitchen is this scary shadowy moving thing. It could make a nice background for a abstract dark #alientarthive after some editing.

HUNTING IT THE STAIRCASE

The sun was going down, and shadows at home were to their end so I ran up the 10 floor building's staircase and took some strange self-portraits.

And this is my favorite. It gets really distorted from the different surfaces.

All of this I could shoot in two days without even leaving my apartment building. So no excuses, start hunting. Find what has been hidden for your attention and have fun!
