I was sporadically hunting for shadows while photographing other stuff on my ramblings in the last few weeks or so.
This lovely set of spirals was photographed on the wall of one of the houses on the outskirts of Vodnjan, the small town about twenty kilometers from where I live. The function of this thing is to hold the open window shutters in place.
In this shot, I singled out one of the spirals. When the following photograph was taken ...
... another, much bigger shadow, started deleting or swallowing the spiral shadows on the facade.
These two shadows are the contest entry. They were caught in the small town called Sveti Lovrech, about fifty kilometers from where I live. In the following photograph ...
... you can take a look at the trees that were casting those shadows.
This is the shadow of a cross.
One of the biggest crosses in the Kringa's cemetery. Kringa is a village not far from Sveti Lovrech. I had to drive less than ten kilometers from one to another.
On a sunny winter day, the country lanes in the forested rural areas are paved with shadows of the trees that grow by the side of the road.
*AND THAT'S IT. HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE SHADOWS. AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK. *
