My shadow hunting zone today has been limited to the tomato plant on my terrace. First I had only discovered the nice shadows on the tomatoes (Paradeiser in Austrian), but then another motive came flying.
Mein Schatten Jagdzone hat sich heute auf die Tomatenpflanze auf meiner Terrasse beschränkt. Zuerst hatte ich nur die netten Schatten auf den Tomaten (Paradeiser auf Österreichisch) entdeckt, doch dann kam ein anderes Motiv herbei geflogen.
Since my tomatoes this year unfortunately suffer a lot from these little white flies I'm really glad that the wasps come numerous and diligently lied to get rid of these little animals. So, at least I suspect that, but I'm not sure ;-)
Da meine Tomaten heuer leider sehr an diesen kleinen weißen Fliegen leiden bin ich echt froh, dass die Wespen zahlreich und fleißig angelogen kommen, um diese Tierchen zu beseitigen. Also, zumindest vermute ich das, aber sicher bin ich mir nicht ;-)
I also totally liked the shadows of the wings and antennae!
Auch die Schatten der Flügel und Fühler haben mir total gut gefallen!
Whether they help against whiteflies or not, after these wasp species are otherwise totally peaceful I have no problem with it.
Egal ob sie nun gegen die weißen Fliegen helfen oder nicht, nachdem diese Wespenarten ansonsten total friedlich sind habe ich kein Problem damit.
@stresskiller look, this species doesn't have small hairs, but it does have fuzz in some places! Fascinating. Unfortunately my camera can't keep up with your camera and lens :-) Diese Art hat keine Haare, aber an manchen Stellen einen Flaum! Faszinierend! Am nächsten Foto sieht man sogar einer der winzig kleinen weißen Fliegen:
