I have already said that it is best to start shadow hunting in the evening (because you still feel sleepy in the morning, but if you are a lark, then go hunting before breakfast). The sun is lowering towards the horizon and the shadows are getting longer. In addition to shadows, you can even catch some glare of light in your lens, if there is such a desire. However, glare can be done in post-processing.
Of course, it's good if the shadows are on a flat surface. I had asphalt. But an uneven surface can give you an additional interesting effect.
This time I made an ambush near the crossroads. My victims didn't know about the ambush and didn't care about anything. It's like hunting at a waterhole...
If you are patient, then different events will begin to happen around you. Pedestrians, cyclists, scooters and scooters... and it all moves, changes positions, just look through the viewfinder and have time to pull the trigger.
All these photos were taken from almost the same location. Maybe a couple of steps back and forth. And then I turned around in the other direction and got into the frame myself. Sometimes the hunter becomes the prey.
