This is the city skyline of Chicago, or rather the shadow of it. This was taken from the observatory on top of the John Hancock Center, which is one of the tallest skyscraper in Chicago.
I enjoy going up to these observatories whenever I visit a city, to see the view from high up top. I was also there at around mid-afternoon, where the sun cast a very nice shadow on the skyscrapers.
