Benches are very useful street furniture. Often people on the street get tired of walking and sit down on a public bench to rest. Sometimes on the bench there is an elderly person sitting alone reading the newspaper, other times large groups of friends occupy all the available benches, but usually young engaged couples sit on the benches.

Le panchine sono utilissimi arredi urbani. Spesso la gente per strada si stanca di camminare e si accomoda su una panchina pubblica per riposare. A volte in panchina si trova un anziano solo seduto a leggere il giornale, altre volte gruppi numerosi di amici occupano tutte le panchine disponibili, ma di solito sulle panchine si siedono le giovani coppie di fidanzati.
