By carrying out their usual daily actions, men do not always realize how numerous are the insects that inhabit the earth. Although their dimensions are very small, also the cockroaches, the cochineals or the scarabs populate the same environments that human beings frequent, who often do not notice their presence and only rarely notice the curious shadows of the small bodies of the insects.

Svolgendo le proprie abituali azioni quotidiane gli uomini non sempre si rendono conto di quanto siano numerosi gli insetti che abitano sulla terra. Benché le loro dimensioni siano molto piccole, anche le blatte, le cocciniglie o gli scarabei popolano gli stessi ambienti che frequentano gli esseri umani, i quali spesso non si accorgono della loro presenza e solo raramente notano le curiose ombre dei piccoli corpi degli insetti.
