Luego, en esta misma Iglesia, el 17 de diciembre de 1842 fueron recibidos los restos mortales del Libertador para su posterior traslado a la Catedral de Caracas. El Templo de San Francisco fue declarado "Monumento Nacional" según Gaceta Oficial Nº 25.020 de fecha 6 de abril de 1956. [ESP] El Arco de La Federación es una de las obras monumentales del Arquitecto Alejandro Chataing, Juan Hurtado Manrique fue su asistente. Ambos construyen en 1895, el Arco de la Federación en las pendientes de El Calvario. En 1876, realiza algunas modificaciones al Palacio de Gobierno conocido como la Casa Amarilla; así mismo, diseña el Templo Masónico con estilo neobarroco. Casi al mismo tiempo, inicia el proyecto de construcción del templo de Santa Ana y Santa Teresa, también conocido como de San Felipe Neri, esta sería una de las iglesias más grandes e importantes del siglo XIX, dos de las fachadas tuvieron un estilo neoclásico; aunque su construcción fue detenida por varios años finalmente se termina inaugurando en el año de 1881. también fue un excelente profesor, entre los años 1887 y 1891 enseña arquitectura en la Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes. Se sabe también que Hurtado llegó a alcanzar luego el Grado 33 dentro de la Orden. La Casa Amarilla de Caracas, edificio de arquitectura neoclásica que data del siglo XIX y se encuentra frente a la Plaza Bolívar de Caracas y la Catedral, en la esquina principal del casco histórico de la ciudad. El diseño de este Templo Católico fue ordenado por el entonces Presidente de Venezuela General Antonio Guzmán Blanco, El proyecto lo realizó el Arquitecto y militar venezolano Juan Hurtado Manrique. El 28 de octubre de 1881 fue inaugurada la estructura como Iglesia de Santa Teresa en honor a la esposa del Presidente Guzmán Blanco, Señora Ana Teresa. El 9 de diciembre de 1959 fue declarada Monumento Histórico Nacional.

[ESP] Capilla Nuestra Señora de Lourdes. Ubicada en el Parque Ezequiel Zamora o El Calvario, construida en 1885 por decreto del presidente Joaquín Crespo y proyectado por Juan Hurtado Manrique. Esta capilla en la actualidad está abandonada tal lo expliqué en una publicación reciente que usted puede ver si va al siguiente enlace LINK Parque Ezequiel Zamora Esta Capilla es de pequeñas dimensiones, su construcción de mampostería es de estilo neogótico, presenta en su fachada norte una torre campanario de base cuadrada terminada con una esbelta cúpula piramidal de base octogonal rematada en un pináculo. Las fachadas laterales presentan ventanales rematados con arcos ojivales y en cada una de estas fachadas, el acceso a la nave tiene la misma forma que las ventanas, con grandes portones de madera. This chapel is currently abandoned as I explained in a recent publication that you can see if you go to the following link LINK Parque Ezequiel Zamora This Chapel is of small dimensions, its masonry construction is of neo-Gothic style, it presents on its north facade a bell tower with a square base finished with a slender pyramidal dome with an octagonal base topped in a pinnacle. The side facades have large windows topped with pointed arches and in each of these facades, the access to the nave has the same shape as the windows, with large wooden doors.
