Hola comunidad, con mucho respeto, amor y paz paso por aquí para saludar y compartir con ustedes dos fachadas de Arquitectura religiosa de la ciudad de Caracas, capital de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela se trata de dos templos católicos ubicados en tres zonas distintas de la capital. Debo aclarar que los he visitado varias veces, en compañía de mi esposa, pero los he encontrado cerrados por esa razón, por ahora, solo mostraré el exterior de estas iglesias. Espero que les guste.

Hello community, with a lot of respect, love and peace I pass through here to greet and share with you two facades of Religious Architecture of the city of Caracas, capital of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela these are two Catholic temples located in three different areas of the capital. I must clarify that I have visited them several times, in the company of my wife, but I have found them closed for that reason, for now, I will only show the exterior of these churches. I hope you like it.

Como mencioné solo quiero mostrar las fachadas y en un trabajo aparte los detalles de la arquitectura, el diseño y la construcción de cada una y su respectivas e interesantes historias. Por ahora, una breve reseña que nos permita conocer los aspectos básicos de cada uno de los templos. El primero que presento es el de los Salesianos, complejo arquitectónico que cuenta con una institución educativa, Colegio San Francisco de Sales, la Iglesia en honor a María Auxiliadora y la Fundación Editorial Salesiana, ubicado en la Avenida Andrés Bello, entre las esquinas Salesianos a Paradero Sarría – Caracas 1010 A (Distrito Capital) Caracas – Venezuela.

As I mentioned I just want to show the facades and in a separate work the details of the architecture, design and construction of each one and their respective and interesting stories. For now, a brief review that allows us to know the basic aspects of each of the temples. The first one I present is that of the Salesians, an architectural complex that has an educational institution, Colegio San Francisco de Sales, the Church in honor of Mary Help of Christians and the Salesian Editorial Foundation, located on Avenida Andrés Bello, between the Salesian corners of Paradero Sarría – Caracas 1010 A (Capital District) Caracas – Venezuela.

Hace como veinte años asistí con mi esposa a una entrevista con el Sacerdote encargado de la Editorial Salesiana, el motivo era presentar uno de mis cuentos para ver si lo podían publicar, la respuesta no fue la esperada por mi pero quedé conforme con la explicación, resulta que la editorial solo estaba publicando libros de textos escolares, por cierto, excelentes libros para trabajar las distintas materias del pensum de educación venezolana. Otra anécdota la tengo con los libros de Instrucción Premilitar de esa prestigiosa editorial, los utilicé mientras estuve activo trabajando como docente de esa materia; además, como fui coordinador de Instrucción Premilitar del Distrito Escolar y luego de la Zona Educativa del Estado Miranda siempre llevaba conmigo esos textos, convirtiéndome, en una especie de promotor independiente de la editorial.

About twenty years ago I attended with my wife an interview with the Priest in charge of the Salesian Publishing House, the reason was to present one of my stories to see if they could publish it, the answer was not as expected by me but I was satisfied with the explanation, it turns out that the publisher was only publishing school textbooks, by the way, excellent books to work on the different subjects of the Venezuelan education curriculum. Another anecdote I have with the books of Premilitary Instruction of that prestigious publisher, I used them while I was active working as a teacher of that subject; In addition, as I was coordinator of Premilitary Instruction of the School District and then of the Educational Zone of the Miranda State I always carried those texts with me, becoming a kind of independent promoter of the publishing house.

Otra bonita fachada es la que tiene la Iglesia Sagrado Corazón de Jesús ubicada en la Hoyada, entre la Avenida Fuerzas Armadas N. 33 Esq. Corazón de Jesús y la Avenida Universidad de Caracas 1010. También aquí tengo una anécdota muy agradable ya que viví durante una semana en este sitio religioso perteneciente a los Padres Dominicos. Esta experiencia la viví durante mis años mozos en la época de mi discernimiento vocacional.

Another beautiful façade is the one with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church located in La Hoyada, between Avenida Fuerzas Armadas N. 33 Esq. Corazón de Jesús and Avenida Universidad de Caracas 1010. Also here I have a very pleasant anecdote since I lived for a week in this religious site belonging to the Dominican Fathers. I lived this experience during my young years at the time of my vocational discernment.

Con esta comunidad trabajé 14 años, en la Unidad Educativa Privada Colegio San Martín de Porres de Guatire, Municipio Zamora del Estado Miranda como docente en el área de Ciencias Sociales, impartiendo las asignaturas de Historia de Venezuela, Historia Universal, Cátedra Bolivariana e Instrucción Premilitar.

With this community I worked 14 years, in the Private Educational Unit Colegio San Martín de Porres de Guatire, Municipio Zamora of Miranda State as a teacher in the area of Social Sciences, teaching the subjects of History of Venezuela, Universal History, Bolivarian Chair and Premilitary Instruction.

El problema de salud que estamos atravesando hace que aumente el riesgo de contagio por Covid19 lo que ha hecho que se cambien las costumbres habituales de los ciudadanos. Sin embargo, ayer, lunes 13 de septiembre de este año 2021, mi esposa y yo, estuvimos nuevamente caminando por Caracas y logramos visitar estos templos católicos de los cuales tengo especial cariño y algunas anécdotas que contar de las que ya mencioné una en cada lugar; aunque los templos estaban cerrados decidimos tomar algunas fotografía que ya han venido observando en esta publicación.

The health problem we are going through increases the risk of contagion by Covid19 which has caused the usual customs of citizens to change. However, yesterday, Monday, September 13 of this year 2021, my wife and I, were again walking through Caracas and we managed to visit these Catholic temples of which I have special affection and some anecdotes to tell of which I already mentioned one in each place; although the temples were closed we decided to take some photographs that you have already been observing in this publication.

Yo espero encontrarlos abiertos en algún momento para mostrar a ustedes los detalles de su interior. En la red existen fotografías internas pero a mi no me gusta hacer una copia y pega, tal como lo hacen los estudiantes, yo prefiero, por ética y por respeto a ustedes, ir al sitio y tomar las fotografías para que sean de primera mano y se ajusten a la realidad actual de cada lugar. Es cuestión de ética profesional tratar de publicar trabajos como lo hace la mayoría en esta importante comunidad, la cual merece calidad y sobre todo respeto. Muchas gracias por llegar hasta aquí. I hope to find them open at some point to show you the details of their interior.
