Water Tank Maintenance
Hello friends, at home we are working on a project that needed urgent attention, but with so many problems between family, budget, and no time, we had not taken it seriously. Until my son decided to make a fund for the priorities of the house, for some time we have been raising money to do general maintenance to the two tanks we have at home, if we hire someone to clean the tanks we do not trust much, because there is no certification that we will be as you want, and we also have to change pipes, put new floats, as on several occasions have not worked and we have been with the water to the neck the times that has overflowed, and has brought us loss of some things, when the house is flooded.

Hola amigos, en casa estamos trabajando en un proyecto que necesitaba su atención urgente, pero con tantos problemas entre familiares, presupuesto, y nada de tiempo, no lo habíamos tomado en serio. Hasta que mi hijo decidió hacer un fondo para las prioridades de la casa, durante cierto tiempo hemos estado reuniendo dinero para hacerle mantenimiento general a los dos tanques que tenemos en casa, si contratamos a alguna persona para limpiar los tanques no confiamos mucho, porque no hay certificación de que nos van a quedar como uno quiere, y también hay que cambiar tuberías, colocar nuevos flotantes, ya que en varias oportunidades no han funcionado y hemos estado con el agua al cuello las veces que se ha rebosado, y nos ha traído pérdida de algunas cosas, cuando se inunda la casa.

Once we got down to work, my son bought everything we needed to make the tanks optimal. We chose a day when there was water through normal pipes, so we could empty the tanks. To do this we uninstalled everything and proceeded to wash them; the state they were in was not really suitable. The installations were not adequate either. The changes involved the following: removing a hose and installing another one, installing modern floats, filters so that the water would not come out so dirty, installing a water lung, installing some stopcocks and changing the location of the water pump.

Ya con manos a la obra, mi hijo compró todo lo que se necesitaba para poner óptimos los tanques. Escogimos un día que hubiera agua por tubería normal, para poder vaciar los tanques. Para ello se desinstala todo y procedemos a lavarlos; el estado en que estaban verdaderamente no eran apto. Las instalaciones tampoco eran las adecuadas. Los cambios implicaban lo siguiente: quitar una manguera y acomodar otra, colocar flotantes modernos, filtros para que el agua no salga tan sucia, colocar un pulmón de agua, colocar algunas llaves de paso y cambiar el sitio de la bomba de agua.

El trabajo se comenzó, primero con el tanque blanco, se lavó muy bien, se le colocó su flotante, requirió cambiar el tubo de arriba, la de abajo estaba en buen estado. A partir de la manguera se le colocó una llave de paso, Luego se colocaron codos, juntas dresser, niples plásticos con roscas, y galvanizado. Se le colocó como nuevo, el pulmón de agua, se cambió el sitio de la bomba. Practically everything went well, we did not have so many mishaps, except that on several occasions we have had to disassemble it again because water leaks from the outlet of the blue tank, in the tests the tank fills up a little and we are monitoring, we had to test the pipes several times to see that it did not leak water and to seal it completely to finish the job.
Hasta ahora todos los cambios han funcionado bien, el trabajo es un poco rudo, la cocina se vuelve un desastre, no sé mucho de eso; lo que sé, es el desastre que veo en la cocina. Prácticamente todo salió bien, no tuvimos tanto percance, exceptuando que en varias oportunidades se ha tenido que desmontar de nuevo porque vota agua, por la salida del tanque azul, en las pruebas se llena poco el tanque y vamos monitoreando, había que probar varias veces las tuberías para ver que no botara agua y poderla sellar completamente para finiquitar el trabajo.

Aunque ya está listo, seguimos observando todo el día, que no tenga fuga de agua, porque o si no hay que desmontar otra vez, afortunadamente todo va bien. Ya limpié un poco, hoy estoy rendida y recogiendo los desórdenes, espero despertar con una mañana feliz sin el derrame de una gota de agua.
