Blessed day friends of Hive, it is a pleasure to greet you, welcome once again to my blog. On this occasion I am going to share with you a brief review of a very striking building that I had the opportunity to photograph in the Miraflores District of the city of Lima.
The Miraflores district is the district with the most growth and development in the city of Lima. Its proximity to the coast and the Pacific Ocean make it the preferred district for tourists. There are a large number of natural parks with beautiful floral gardens, as well as several restaurants and shopping centers that offer a wonderful view of the sea.
In the center of the district is the building of the Municipality of Miraflores. A very large building striking for its beautiful structure. This huge building is located on a corner in front of the Central Park which makes it all the more remarkable. It is built in reinforced concrete and brick with Quartz facades.
Según algunas noticias que pude leer en la web, se está considerando convertir en este edificio en el Palacio de Bellas Artes, que forme parte de una gran sala de exposiciones en homenaje al Bicentenario de la Independencia Nacional.
The author of the work was the architect Luis Miró Quesada Garland. This building is considered his masterpiece due to its architectural design. The architectural style of this work is the Neocolonial style that had its peak in the 20th century.
According to some news that I was able to read on the web, this building is being considered as the Palace of Fine Arts, which is part of a large exhibition hall in homage to the Bicentennial of National Independence.

It is very formative for me to write this type of article since I learn a lot about the history and architecture of this type of old buildings that I like so much.
